Spring & SYNTAX were commissioned by Coca Cola Middle East to come up with a very entertaining websites to help engage Middle East youth with Coca-cola worldwide brand.
 
The Football site has been launced late 2008 while the music site is still under deployment.
 
Spring did the development on the J2EE platform using JSP as the scripting language, WebShpere 6.1 as the application server and Oracle 9i as the database engine. The website syndicates football news and photos from xml feeds created by a third party commitioned to develop content for the website.
 
Main challenges faced in this projet were mainly concentrated on adhering to the complex set of procedures to launch a site on Coca-Cola's global hosting environment which was tough to create 100% at our end. We had to learn a lot and learn quickly to adapt.
