Play 99.6 is Jordan’s No.1 hit music station, very popular amongst Jordan’s youth needed to strengthen its web strategy in a time where at the time there were almost 100,000 Jordanians using Facebook.

To accomplish this strategy, Play 99.6 recognized the importance of creating a new website that is more aligned with the new global web standards of visual design, clarity, consistency and usability on one hand and enabling more participation and user generated content from the other hand. To create an overall customer experience that extends from listening to the radio into interacting with the website.

Spring has worked very closely with Play 99.6 staff and designers from SYNTAX to develop their new website play.jo and creating a strong based content management system to satisfy the dynamic nature of the website content enabling the staff to update content as well as add new content smoothly and systematically.

The content management system was implemented using CodeIgniter in record time, and integrated with WordPress to be used as the blogging/news engine.
