The heart of Soliya's Connect Program is their community portal.

Soliya is an organization with a mission to develop a new generation of leaders with the cross-cultural knowledge, communications skills, and international connections to create a more informed, peaceful and just global society.

Soliya partners with educational institutions across areas in conflict, using new media technologies and transformative educational programs to catalyze young people to be catalysts for social change. Soliya's main program is The Connect Program whereby students from various universities in the east and the west meet once a week to start conversations on political and cultural issues that matter the most.

Spring has been working very closely with Soliya since 2007 to develop and maintain their new CMS that is more aligned with the new global web standards of visual design, clarity, audience-centric, use of latest web technology trends, consistency and usability.

Technologies used: Drupal 5.x as the content management system with MySQL 5.0 as the database engine.
