Bringing ECHO's humanitarian mission to Arabic-speaking audiences.

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO) needed an Arabic-language website to extend their communications reach. We built an accessible, content-rich platform that tells the story of ECHO's humanitarian work through text, audio, and video.
ECHO's humanitarian work in the region needed a dedicated Arabic-language digital channel. The platform had to make complex humanitarian information accessible and navigable for Arabic-speaking audiences, while supporting the multimedia storytelling that brings aid missions to life.
We designed the site for clarity and accessibility, with an information architecture that makes it easy to navigate ECHO's breadth of work. Audio and video storytelling features let the communications team go beyond text to show the human side of their humanitarian mission.
Built on Drupal 7 with responsive design, the platform features audio and video storytelling capabilities, a blog for ongoing updates, and a content management system that lets the ECHO team publish and manage Arabic-language content independently.
ECHO now has a dedicated Arabic-language digital presence that extends their communications reach in the region. The multimedia capabilities give the team the tools to tell humanitarian stories in ways that resonate with local audiences.
