Where care meets data, building the backbone of a smarter care economy.
Raya is transforming care from an invisible burden into a social and economic engine. We built a member community that serves day care owners, managers, and caregivers, giving each role the tools they need: self-assessments for owners and managers to evaluate their centers, field assessments conducted by specialists, training courses to upskill the care workforce, and data dashboards that turn it all into a clear picture of care quality across the sector.
The Challenge
The care sector lacked digital infrastructure. Day care owners and managers had no structured way to evaluate their own operations, specialists had no system for conducting and recording field assessments, and caregivers had limited access to professional development. Raya needed a single platform that brings all of these together while generating the data to drive smarter policy and investment in care.
Our Approach
We designed the community around distinct user roles. Owners and managers access a members area where they can complete self-assessments and track their center's progress. Specialists use field assessment tools to conduct evaluations on the ground. Caregivers access training courses and a job board to grow their careers. All of this feeds into data dashboards and geographic heatmaps that give Raya visibility into care quality at scale.
Execution
Built on Drupal with MySQL, the community includes a members area with role-based access for owners, managers, and caregivers, self-assessment tools, field assessment tools for specialists, a training course library, an articles section, a job board, data dashboards for monitoring quality metrics, and a heatmap that visualizes assessment data geographically.
Impact
Raya now has the digital infrastructure to professionalize care at scale. Owners assess and improve their centers, caregivers access training and job opportunities, specialists conduct structured evaluations, and Raya sees the full picture through data dashboards and heatmaps that inform where to invest next.
