7iber is a storytelling platform rooted in Jordan, built to give everyday people the tools to tell their local and national stories through photography, audio, and video. We built the platform that powers this community of citizen storytellers.
The Challenge
7iber wanted to build more than a publication. They wanted an interactive community where people across Jordan could contribute stories using multiple media formats. The platform needed to support rich multimedia storytelling while remaining accessible to non-technical contributors.
Our Approach
We designed the platform around multimedia contribution: photo, video, and audio sharing tools that make it easy for community members to tell stories in the format that fits. The site was built to encourage participation and make local stories visible to a wider audience.
Execution
Built on Drupal 7, the platform features photo, video, and audio sharing capabilities, community contribution tools, and a content management system designed to support a growing library of multimedia stories from across Jordan.
Impact
7iber created a space where Jordanian stories are told by the people who live them. The platform turned storytelling into a community act, giving local voices a stage and the tools to be heard.
