Jarra App

Ordering gas cylinders in Amman meant waiting on the street or calling around. Jarra wanted to make the process instant and digital, but the solution had to work within the constraints of the local market: sellers with varying availability, delivery zones, and no existing digital infrastructure.

We designed the customer ordering workflow to be as frictionless as possible, just a few taps to place an order. On the seller side, we built a flow that accounts for real-world constraints like location, availability, and delivery logistics. Geo-mapping and instant notifications connect both sides in real time.

Built on Yii2 with MySQL, the platform includes iOS and Android apps for customers, an instant order system, push notifications for sellers, and geo-mapping for real-time location matching. The architecture was designed to handle the immediacy of on-demand delivery while keeping the experience simple for both sides.

Jarra turned a manual, unpredictable process into a digital one. Customers can order gas from their phone and track delivery, while sellers get orders routed to them automatically based on proximity and availability.
