GR8TUNES is a streaming platform dedicated to classic Arabic music. We built a web and mobile experience where users can freely stream a rich catalog of Arabic musical heritage, with subscription options for premium features and online payment integration.
The Challenge
Classic Arabic music was scattered across the internet with no dedicated home. GR8TUNES wanted to build a single platform where this musical heritage could be accessed freely, presented beautifully, and sustained through a subscription model.
Our Approach
We designed a clean streaming experience that puts the music first, with a catalog structure built for browsing and discovery. A subscription layer with online payment integration provides the revenue model, while the free tier keeps the music accessible to everyone.
Execution
Built on Drupal with audio streaming capabilities, the platform features a browsable music catalog, free streaming access, an online subscription system with payment integration, and a web and mobile experience optimized for listening.
Impact
GR8TUNES gave classic Arabic music a dedicated digital home. Listeners can explore and stream freely, and the subscription model creates a sustainable path for preserving and sharing this musical heritage.
